A pleasant ride of about 14k on tracks through forest and open hill with a very little road work. Riders will have a map showing the route, which is not marked – you have to read the map and find your way. Keep your eyes open and you will spot control points marked by small coloured cones – score for every one you see and record.

There will be an optimum time but you will miss the clues if you go too fast! The main aim is to have a good ride, use your brain a bit and have FUN! Can be ridden individually, or in pairs.

Entry is £10 per rider – all profits to Tweeddale RDA.

For more information, contact Claire Garnett on 01721 740256

RULES:

3) Keep to the tracks  – this is for your own safety to avoid rabbit holes, bogs etc.
4) Juniors (16 & under) must be accompanied by a mounted adult on the ride.
