Preston Mains, East Linton, EH40 EDT
Riders may attend for either or both days
Saturday – Beach Ride –Tyninghame Links Car Park, Limetree Walk, Tyninghame
(Meeting point subject to change but all attendees will be informed)
Meet in the car park mounted at 11am for a leisurely ride along Belhaven Bay and around the country park tracks. Soup and a roll on return to boxes.
Members - £10
Non Members - £15
On completion of the ride, we will head back to settle ponies at Preston Mains and an unmounted afternoon activity will be organised. This will be followed by supper in the evening at Preston Mains by kind invitation of Caroline Gray.
Sunday – Training Day and Ride Out
Flatwork lessons in small groups of similar ability with Richard Telford in the arena at Preston Mains. Times will be given out during the week before. This will be followed by a shared picnic lunch.
After lunch we will have a ride around the farmland at Preston Mains and onto the Smeaton Estate with some optional XC jumping (by kind permission of Mrs Caroline Gray).
Members - £40 for lesson, arena hire and ride out.
Non Members - £50 for lesson, arena hires and ride out.
Preston Mains is situated between Tyninghame and East Linton. From the Beltonford Roundabout on the A1 take the A199 to East Linton. Follow road for 1.5 miles until you reach the signs for Tyninghame/North Berwick A198. Follow this road to Tyninghame village; in the village take the left turn signed East Linton and Preston Mill. Preston Mains is on the Right after two sharp bends in the road. _________________________________________________________________________
Limited Stabling available at Preston Mains at £15 including Straw. Please bring your own feed and hay. Booking is made on the weekend entry form.

1) Follow instructions of event organisers, ride leaders and officials.
2) Hard hats to current safety standard and appropriate footwear must be worn when mounted. Fluorescent tabards are recommended.
3) Follow marked routes – this is for your own safety to avoid rabbit holes, bogs etc.
4) Juniors (16 & under) must be accompanied by a mounted adult on the ride.
